Post #8 - 06 Dec 20 - Day 27 - getting mobile

A short video update as I'm due to get the final dressing off in 5 days but we are basically 4 weeks post surgery tomorrow.

This video summarises my progress as I've been lightly weight-bearing for 7 days and today I'm doing so easily using just the surgical shoe and putting weight through my heel, rolling on the outside and not putting much strain through my toes nor my heels, to avoid joint movement or excessive strain. Stairs are fine with more caution for the achilles going upstairs. I've got used to doing any outdoor or dirty tasks using a carrier-bag around my foot. Looking forward to maybe wearing a normal shoe and driving on Friday.
